Multi purpose website builder

One of the IT techs on Signing Order mentioned that there was an email or message a month or two ago about a “partnership” with a company in California that will create a notary’s website for three hundred and something set up fee and a monthly upkeep fee. Does anyone know who that is or have the link to contact them? Also, I want a website I can use for multi purposes, not just notary use. If you have experience and know a good website builder for multi purposes for a good price, I am open to suggestions.

I may be able to help you create one…created my own: sherriebnotary also created my churches.

@cheryl_1_angel Well, from my first-hand direct experience with hiring others to build a website . . . I’d S L O W . D O W N & perform quite a bit of due diligence & Research prior to expending any funds.

I’ll add a STRONG caveat about my direct experience in this type of instance . . . the initial website that I subcontracted to be built for a business (about 18 years ago) was performed for a “reasonable fee.”

The difficulty encountered was for edits, insertions, new pages, etc. The website builder withheld the Author/Edit Rights from me (I was the owner of the website).

He charged a $75 fee anytime a word or even a letter needed revision; for example to update:

  • Fees

  • Words (including editing a SINGLE word)

  • Paragraphs

  • Add/Remove Photos

  • Update text

  • etc.

That “experiential lesson” taught me that I would ALWAYS do more than read the proverbial “Fine Print.”

It also taught me to think critically about:

  • the potential future scenarios & how those would be addressed/managed
  • to ask germane questions PRIOR to hiring a subcontractor for ANY service
  • to confirm that I’d have the Author/Edit Rights
  • don’t sign an annual contract

Truly, it’s best to create your own website!

Also, in the past Notary2Pro would work with students to create their websites for a very reasonable fee; although, I’m uncertain if they still offer that service.

If they don’t still offer that service, they would be able to provide you with trustworthy guidance & insights in that regard.

If you mean you want a website with multiple pages, that is definitely something you can do. For example if you owned the domain cherylharrisonllc. com you could have a page for each service you offer.

You do not need to hire anyone to create your website, unless you want to. I use GoDaddy and if you can successfully navigate this online forum, I think you are more than qualified to create your own website. It is all just point and click. No coding skills required with GoDaddy. They make it so easy. Give it a try for free: https://www.godaddy.com

Best of luck to you!
