As for becoming a notary
As for certification, Notary2Pro was always the benchmark training; now I read a lot of posts here about different programs and see Notary Stars mentioned often as good training and solid after-training support. (Don’t take the training advice to the bank because I just got this from reading here and not any personal experience).
Also, I will say, I’ve read NC is an attorney state in some degree - not confirmed and I’m not in NC so cannot personally confirm…just something to be aware of
