Its been so slow…I’ve been using this time to market and try and get my name out there…
I’m in the process of taking the cert exam through NNA. So I can be added to more title co’s lists… has anyone taken this exam?? PASSED it and any advice for me on how to pass so I don’t have to purchase there study guide for 114 bucks
Any advice will be helpful…
Thanks
I’ve taken the test every year since 2007 and passed it every time with a 90% or higher (I just took it in March and I got 42 out of 45 right for 93.33%). The majority of the answers are found in the Notary Signing Agent Code of Conduct. When you begin the test this document will come up first, you can download it and look through it for answers while you are taking the test. If you are already familiar with mortgage documents (ie what information is found on the Closing Disclosure / Note / Deed of Trust etc) you should be able to answer most of the other questions with no problem.

okay… great… thanks so much
Hello,
Please explain reason you take the exam every year?, and what website ? NAA?
The cert exam has to be taken every year… Alot of the signing companies will only assign you jobs if you have taken/passed the cert exam through the NNA…

Hello yourcanotary1
How long do you have to wait to receive your material to study for the exam?
I signed up for the certification course on 9/19, and waiting on my background check to come back.
Klewis31975,
Thanks for the information

Did you pay the $65 version? That does not come with Certification study guides. Test and background check only.
If you paid for training manuals you either selected for them to ship them or download online. What did you pay for?
