Hello, I was given a Reverse Mortgage to sign and noticed their are no acknowledgments to sign. This has never happened to me. Am I supposed to print my own out and attach? I am in Washington State. The signing company has not said either way. If so, which documents must I do this for? Thanks in advance.
That’s up to the signing company to tell you what they want notarized; you and I (and all of us) know at the minimum the security instrument gets notarized, however we are not allowed to make that call.
Just a quick thought - is it the final signing or the application? Initial disclosures have no notarizations. If it’s the final signing the security instruments should have those certs pre-printed on them.
Maybe just an oversight or software glitch on their part; but I wonder if they just want you to get the docs signed and then "they’ll take care of it when they get the package back at the office.
Just a thought.
It’s probably the RM application. Call the signing company.
You are right. I finally got through to them. It was just the application. Thanks
