I have a signing that occurred on June 3rd. I emailed them today asking when I could expect payment. I was sent the same schedule that brucem1213 posted a few weeks ago. The schedule says the pay on a ā€œ30-45 Business day schedule.ā€ according to the schedule ā€œClosings completed between June 1st – 15th will go out weekend of Aug 8thā€ so my payment will be 66 days after the signing was completed. Totally unacceptable time frame. At least the fee was higher than the average fee I have been receiving. If I accept an order again I will be sure to add an additional amount to the fee as a late fee for payment.

Completely unacceptable!

When thinking of our Out-Of-Pocket Expenses that we pay Cash for (or utilize a card) we have lost the use of those funds while covering those expenses.

In addition, if utilizing a card, the payment for those funds will be due within 20-25 calendar days.

As a result, in essence, we are providing them an interest-free ā€œloanā€ & it’s costing us additional money. :money_bag:

This is one of the myriad reasons that it’s integral to one’s Success to vet your client PRIOR to providing them with your Professional Signing Agent [PSA] services.

  • Research the business
  • Query direct contact data for asking questions at the signing table
  • Ask for their remuneration turnaround time
  • Ask if that payment turnaround time is CALENDAR days or BUSINESS days (it does make a BIG difference)

Did one 1/13/2023 and got paid 3/10/2023. Maybe later than I’d like but that’s not a non payment.

Hopefully, you haven’t yet cashed the check.

That sounds like the closing didn’t go through so they sent you a $25 consolation prize. If it were me, I’d check local records for recording info and see if the conveyance deed that you notarized was recorded. If it was the closing went through and you deserve full fee. Don’t let them get away with it

If you’re looking for a payment, you can call 904-300-0104. I haven’t had the best experience with Loan Pro Closings. One job was enough for me. —they low ball, and their pay cycle is extremely long; 60+ days. They could also sharpen their customer service skills.
