I have been trying to collect from Loan Pro Services for over a month now. Today is 4-17-2025.
Signing was completed on 2-10-2025 for $95.00 fee. They refuse to answer their phone and you can only leave a voice message regarding payment overdue. I also emailed them with the signing info requesting overdue payment. A person named Meagan responded to my email that their records say I have already been paid by Deluxe Checks (which is a lie). I have no record of payment from Deluxe Checks. I asked her to send me the receipt of payment for Deluxe Checks with no reply from her. I keep all my received email, and know my bank deposit history, so obviously she is lying. I have heard other notaries complaining about this company. If you are smart, you will heed this warning and not take any assignments from them. Youâve been warned.
Thanks for the heads up. Sorry youâre going through all this.
Just today, received a few notifications from Signing Order with an offer from them (with a low fee). Iâd not heard of Loan Pro Closings and considered countering their offer. Did a search on them and all reviews were more than a year ago. Given your recent experience, Iâll just steer clear of them.
If youâre sure you werenât issued payment (e-check or otherwise), Iâd strongly suggest you contact the title company involved and ask for their assistance in collecting. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
I am an experienced notary of 15 years doing this. Rarely get stiffed. But is does happen. I usually stay on a company like a bulldog until I get paid. Title companies are of little help to get you paid. I will let this forum know what results I get. I usually wear these companies down by my persistence until they pay up, and then no more business with them.
I fully hear what youâre saying and Iâve definitely been there but did you check your Deluxe Payment Exchange (DPX) Account to see if they possibly sent it that way I have definitely received several Payments from title companies this way. If you sign up or have signed up and itâs not there I would send them a screenshot showing that you have no receipts of any payments from them.
I just received payment from them after checking Deluxe Exchange. Usually an email is sent letting us know that payment has arrived. And yes, I have received many payments from Deluxe payments from many companies.on that site. As I did not receive an email from them alerting me the payment was there, I asked for my payment. All the party who told me it had been paid had to do was email me that. Instead they slipped it in without telling me after my complaints to pay. Bottom line, we should not have to chase down our payments. Luckily, about 98% of the companies I work with pay without a hitch. Thanks DeNotary on my checking directly with my Deluxe Check account..
I wonder if it was truly accidental. Iâve done many for Loan Pro Closings and never had an issue.
I have completed a few Loan Pro Closings, though they have been slow to pay, they pay.
I make it a âbusiness housekeeping taskâ to notify them 35 days after registered closing date.
There never have been issues, thus far.
So not their non paying issue. But we are warned off anyway. Thatâs why I tend to make my own decisions about who I work for. Iâve never worked for this company anyway.

I would like to add myself to the list of notaries who are having payment issues with Loan Pro Closings. When they sent the first assignment out to me, I had a lengthy discussion with their Louisville Office about finding their payment terms unacceptable. They then agreed to a net 30 calendar day payment schedule, and sadly I believed them. I am now 5 signings in with them and of course the payments are not coming. In speaking with their office today, they re-stated that their representatives cannot modify payment agreements, and that I will be paid on a 45-business day schedule, which doesnât even agree with their last assignment sent to me that I refused, which states a 60-business day policy.
I had done signings for them in the past and never had payment issues, when I was in another state. However, I would advise any notary to stay far away from this company, as in my opinion, they are slow or no pay.
@brucem1213 Sorry to read about the situation youâre facing with that business entity.
Their payment interval (60-business day period) is approximately 12 weeks => at least 3 months before youâd be reimbursed for your out-of-pocket expenses & for the professional services youâve provided.
This interval is quite ALARMING & would cause most to AVOID accepting any Signing Orders [SOs] from that business entity (including myself).
Thank you for sharing your direct experience with them & providing a âheads-upâ for their bait-and-switch payment interval information . . .
I hope you promptly receive remuneration for the professional services youâve successfully provided for them.
I had 2 jobs in Sept. 2024 and just got paid the $ 250 this month April 14th. first they said I didnât have my credentials up to date and when I argued that they said oh their mistake. Then no pymt and then they said no invoice and I had a copy of the invoice and sent it to them 2 more times. Then they said I would get it by ACH and I couldnât find anywhere that they had my account. So after many emails I finally got paid in april of 2025, It was a reputable company before, but I wonât work for them ever again.
On my situation that they hadnât paid for 8 montham I said I would call the title company and demand they pay the notary out of the closing proceeds rather than allow the notary company to pay the notary. In fact I believe that should be the way it is on every deal. Title can pay both the notary and the notary company right out of the proceeds .

Very happy to read that you were successful in receiving the remuneration for the professional services you successfully provided to them SOOOO very long ago!
This appears to be an ever-increasing scenario that is cropping up with Signing Services [SSs]!
As you probably already regularly see on the Notary Cafe forum, I often express that each & every Business Owner should perform their own due diligence in vetting a potential client and/or a client they havenât accepted Signing Orders [SOs] from in a while . . . because as we sometimes experience first-hand, âthings change!â
They are very slow to pay if you are persistant and stay on them. Me?, After my last dealing with them for very slow pay, I wonât do any more signings with them (Loan Pro Closings). Sorry to hear others having to deal with them.
My nemisis has been Notary on Demand. Since Jan 9. I called the originating attorney and got a call from NOD yelling, how dare i call the attorney! She gave the date she would pay as March 11. Its April 23 and no money. I will call that attorney every 5 days until i get a check!! I have no phone contact for Notary on Demand, just an email.
Is that the one in Atlanta GA? 1 (470) 480-1057
If not - sorry.
Hello everyone.
As promised, I will provide you an update on my signings with Loan Pro Closings, and the speed (or lack thereof) at which they have compensated me.
An order completed on 03/18/2025 and an order completed on 03/21/2025 were just paid late this evening, after the close of business (today being a Friday), so in reality I will have my funds available on Tuesday 05/27/2025 as it takes a business day for a check to clear the bank and Monday is the Federal Holiday. This equates to 49 business days on the 1st claim and 46 business days on the second. If counting actual days, it breaks out to net 70 days and net 67 days respectively.
In their defense, these payments are on schedule with their ânewâ payment schedule that they posted, but that is not what I agreed upon when taking these assignments with their representative in conversations both via phone and in writing (email). They had agreed to a net 30 pay schedule, then dishonored it.
I post this information for notaries to use to educate themselves and determine their course of business.
