Notarizr Agents Pro

Has anyone heard or received signings from this company? Im interested in signing up but only the free membership.

Hi Chara, first of all, are you sure that the precise name of the company? Because we’ve just gone through this before with a similar question and it turns out, they had the business name wrong. In business names, every single letter counts. Please verify exact spelling of the business’s name.

And can you give us ANYTHING else to go on, like a business phone number, email, website address, anything?

there are a million services that say notary pro. I’m with Carmen not sure who you’re talking about.

I received an email from Farhana Noor at Notarizr by The Opal Group. So yes, it’s spelled correctly. I didn’t click on the link in the email, but I did go directly to the website and registered, but I didn’t pay for anything, we’ll see how it goes.

Hmm.. I did a quick simple Google search for precisely what you just shared with us “Farhana Noor at Notarizr by The Opal Group” and took a good long look at the search results: “ Google Search

It appears Farhana Noor is in Karachi, Pakistan!? :face_with_monocle: That is pretty curious, huh? I do not recommend sharing personal or notary information with an agent or company in another country. I suspect this is why they are skimpy on the business contact info on their website, Theresa.

Please maintain a healthy skepticism when you get contacted by some of these companies, folks. Research them. And be very skeptical of any business who does not offer notaries a clear address for their place of business in the USA. WHO ARE THEY? How on earth do we research them? How do we confirm whether they are legitimate before we share all of our notary and personal details with them? Without a legitimate business or billing address, how do we bill them to ensure we get paid for the work we do? What recourse would we have if there is an issue? Having a LinkedIn profile does not automatically mean they are legit either. Anyone can create a website, anyone can create a business profile on LinkedIn, FB, whatever. I need to be able to confirm their business can be verified by the secretary of state or dept of revenue. If they won’t tell me their business address, how can I search the SOS website to verify them? I feel like this is a tactic scammers would employ.

If you feel that you have been provided enough information from that company for YOU trust them, Theresa, well OK. Then I wish you the very best with that. It is a very hard NO for me. I just cannot trust it.

P.S. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS CLICKING LINKS IN ANY EMAILS YOU RECEIVE. Make sure you can trust the sender.
