Notary E&O Insurance & Loan Signing Agent E&O

From my understanding, there’s Notary E&O and Loan Signing Agent E&O. If this is correct, I have the Notary E&O, not LSA E&O. Who do you guys use for Loan Signing Agent E&O, how much and coverage? Thanks in advance

I used NNA for my e & o.

I purchased policy for Notary Services ($500,000) for a year $390 online with Hiscox Insurance Company Inc . (deductible: $0 )They rated the best online. This will cover your signing acts too.

I have a $100,000 in Notary E & O coverage from the NNA. From what I am seeing from my FB groups is that I probably will need Signing Agent coverage on top of my notary e & o… I’m going to look into adding the Signing Agent Coverage also, for my own protection. Its great to know that it covers both the notary & signing agent acts.

I have a notary policy from Hiscox that I thought covered signing agent work as well.

I’ve been going back and forth with them all week now and, just this morning, they sent me an email saying that this policy does not cover transporting documents and that they do not currently offer a policy that does.

Glad to have some light shed on this subject. There definitely seems to be limitations to the coverage in what the NNA offers for E&O Insurance. Apparently a more detailed policy (and an investment) needed to be properly covered as an NSA.

Can anyone else weigh in here on BiBerk and the coverage amounts listed above.
$374. For a year is mush steeper than the $158. For the NNA Policy.
I want to get this right!

I started with the NNA E & O policy, and added the Biberk later after I started received paychecks. I am a signing agent full time so I felt I should have more coverage for my business. Here is the comparison: NNA coverage is $100k vs. Biberk coverage $1 million. I pay $34 a month (based on my zip code).
