On positive note last 2 weeks have not had negotiate for payment at my going rate. Comments by 3 signers were “wish I had you for my last signing”. Other comments were could tell Notary was new due to lack of preparedness and docs not signed properly or notarized properly and had to have another appointment; Notary on personal phone calls during signing; and most shocking comment Notary left in middle of signing to go to another appointment and returned to complete signing. Don’t know who is training new Notaries but I find this behavior shocking or maybe I’m just old school.
Wonderful!
In my direct experience this is finally occurring, presumably due to the repeat scheduling with double (or triple) the cost that Title/Escrow Companies [T/ECs] must expend for corrections/Post Close executions.
This is also a direct experience shared by other Professional Signing Agents [PSAs] over the last week or so regarding their Fees being met without annoying Fee haggling.
.
Kudos for the caliber of the professional services you provide.
The majority of signers intrinsically know when they’re in “good hands” & when they’re not . . .
Like you, this has been more often expressed by the signers over the past 1.5 to 2 years during signing appointments.
.
This clearly demonstrated lack of preparedness is one of the reasons I regularly share my direct experience regarding Training/Certification & do directly reference the ONLY one I recommend (see direct url below).

Thank You for sharing your recent experiences in this regard.
I’m cautiously hopeful we’re finally seeing some logistics being engaged for responsible scheduling of these vitally important Signing Orders [SOs] across the US.

No excuse for lack of preparedness…but something did catch my “hmmm” reaction…
In her defense, is it possible that that personal call was from a family member about a family emergency?..leading to her leaving "for another appointment’ which, in reality, was her tending to this emergency?
Just a thought I had. Also, were all signers present, were they paying attention and getting the stuff done? Or was there a problem with keeping them focused so she left to tend to another then returned to complete. We know we’ve heard about non-focused signers all the time.
Just a couple thoughts on this.
