Signing Company List

Where do I find on here a list of signing companies and how they are rated? Thank you.

A list is not available here. You can ā€˜searchā€™ for info/posts about a particular co. NotaryRotary has a list

I saw that but was hoping one was available here.

I keep a list of signing services as offers arise and document the number of days until payment after assignments are completed as ratings are variable and I prefer numbers. I attached the two tables here in case you didnā€™t see my post from about a week ago in another topic area.

Thank you being so kind as to share this information. I see that several of these companies are on a ā€œdeadbeatā€ list that I have. Are you currently receiving payments on all the jobs youā€™ve done with the companies listed?

Do you have that list?

List building is undoubtedly one of the most important steps in conducting market research for our business plan. Here are a couple of books that provide helpful lists: 50K to Sign Your Name and Sign and Thrive. However, keep in mind that any published lists are likely to contain outdated information and will still require verification. Personally, I believe in the traditional approachā€”building my own lists. A search engine can be one of your most valuable tools in this process. Best of luck on your journey!

@cfletcher Absolutely Correct! :tada:

TO ALL NOTARY CAFE MEMBERS:

This is the method Iā€™ve utilized for years within this business sector. It has served me well.

First, I do Search the Notary Cafe database and then expand the range outward from there . . .

Second, when analyzing the data found during the Search, do keep in mind that some apples go bad ===>>> the reputation several years previous was stellar, but the more recent threads/posts reflect a negative shift in the trend of their business practices.

As I often express: Caveat Venditor!

.

DONā€™T KNOW HOW TO SEARCH THE NOTARY CAFE DATABASE?

Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of information available within the database.

To be helpful, Iā€™ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.

Yes, all have paid me.

Where did you get a ā€œdeadbeatā€ list? Itā€™s best to draw from your own experience. There are great companies that pay at the END of the month following service. Sometimes 45 days - some notaries consider that slow pay. If they always pay thatā€™s not a deadbeat. So not sure what companies you refer to. No list created by other people is 100% accurate. There is no shortcut that replaces personal experience. for example signingorder.com sends checks out twice a month. They have a couple of agencies who use that platform that pay very slow. That doesnā€™t make signingorder a bad platform. In 4 years there has been one contract I was never paid on. Some law firm out of Florida. As for slow pay - Notaroo takes as long as 90 days I donā€™t take their orders anymore. Prestige can take up to 3 or 4 months I rarely take their orders anymore. Donā€™t trust anyone elseā€™s list 100%. Just saying.

Prestige since November!!

When I became a notary, I asked the same question(s) - where do I find a list of the signing services and which ones are the flakey ones? I quickly learned the hard way on the flakey ones. Iā€™m happy to report that I;ve collected every dime on every order since I became a notary but it was hard work collecting on some. Persistence, my friends, persistence. As to the signing service list, youā€™ll have to rely on your own digging, Iā€™m afraid. Oh, there are some weak lists online and even this site will yield a few. My advice. . . Search the internet and use your own methods for ferreting out the companies you want to work with. I did and I found about 200 that regularly send me orders, some more than others, of course. I stay relatively busy with my cadre of signing services.

They donā€™t pay fair fees anymore.

I found a list on Etsy also.

Got paid finally but I had to tell them I was contacting Title and dept. of professional regulation to file a complaint in order to get any action. Ridiculous to have to wait 4 months to get paid.

Do you have the link? I canā€™t find it. Thank you.
