Signing of the Journal

I live in California. I have a signing this morning for 43 legal documents to be signed and notarized. When I accepted the order I was told it was 43 pages. The fee is $100. I already accepted the offer, how would you handle this situation? In California the fee for each notary is $15 ($645).

Discuss job detail discrepancy with hiring party and see if you can come to some sort of mutual agreement on the fee. You may choose to discount the “Per signature” fee and waive travel for that number of notarizations.

Of course, this is all dependant on the fact that there is only one signer on all 43 documents - if there are various signers, there are too many details to address (all have ID, all will be there, do you need witnesses??) - If various signers at scattered times, this could be a $750-$1k job.
