United States Notary Association (( Please use caution ))

So I think they got me !!
I kept getting emails regarding joining this company that is partnered with Quick Signings… I finally gave in and paid the 45.00…
I was sent the free journal and finger print stamp BUT I haven’t heard from the company to add my profile to Quick Signings… I’ve emailed several times since its been almost two weeks with no communication from this company… I have yet to get a response… So today I sent an email asking for a refund of the membership fee…
My suggestion is to avoid United States Notary association all together…
I should never have paid for this…and neither should you ( smile )

@Sophianotaryservices You’re Welcome. :beach_umbrella:

Although, not a correction . . . simply a suggestion to assist with solid Search results for other members of the Notary Cafe forum.

Hopefully, you’ll find data that will benefit you in the other threads that are referenced above regarding collection of your requested refund.

I kind of feel the $45 paid for your stamp and the fingerprint stamp. Quick Signings are a lot of one off signings, meaning more process serving and complaint data collection. It can keep you busy if your area is involved in lawsuits. I probably see a dozen or so that come through of varying level of “door knock, photo only, pick up only, print and drop off, less than 10 pages”. For the fees offered, I can only contemplate accepting if its within my zipcode. There are a lot of site inspections offers coming through, but I’m not able to handle that type of work at this time. But I’m sure it’d be a good way to get on a radar. They will see your name more frequently and can reach out. I have a few nationwide signing services that remember my name and reach out specifically.

Yes, I have been getting emails to go out to take pictures of properties… I find that isn’t the job of a notary, so I never accept… And yep you are right, I guess the 45.00 membership fee paid for my FREE notary book and fingerprint stamp… I tried to cancel but after they sent me a statement saying I could cancel but would have to pay for the test I took on the site, and the stamp ( because it isn’t refundable )…lol lol
They got me… I’m stuck… but its ok, lesson most definitely learned

After speaking with someone about the photos, I guess because we are able to navigate to our signing locations that makes us good sources. My shoes are not all terrain shoes, my car might be. I’ve considered rolling up my sleeves to see how involved these photos could be, the first one I opened, the word attic jumped out and immediately please re-assign. A drive by photo, a walk around photo. An appraiser/inspector grade photo, you need an appraiser/inspector (AND PAY APPRASIER/INPSECTOR Fees).

RIGHT…lol

I know signings will come better and soon… Until then I’m just going to learn all that I can, research and sharpen my skills… I appreciate you

Hope u paid by credit card so u can dispute the charge and not pay for it.
That gets a response

Hello you have to be especially careful there are a lot of them that say they will get you signings or join them for a fee. Stay away they will take your money

There is a company called ProxyPics that only hires notaries to go take photos of houses. So it is a legitimate side job for notaries. They simply do not pay much. But I’ve worked with them 3 years and really like that they pay direct deposit within 48 hours of completing the assignment.

I keep getting emails from them to join, After reading your post I am inclined to delete all emails from them from here forward

I am getting emails from them also. Thanks for the insight
