Unwilling Signers with PUSHY Signing Service

This happens often! I had an order for today. When I called to confirm yesterday, the elderly women she responded via text, clearly letting me know she wasn’t ready to do this. I copied and pasted her text messages into an email to the Loan Officer, the Settlement Company and the Signing Service. Later yesterday afternoon the LO stated in email that she had just talked to signer and she (LO) was confirming the appointment. When I headed out to signers I sent a text letting her know I was on my way. Signer stated that she has been telling everybody (LO & ME) that she is not going to sign.

Personally, I do believe the LO was lying through her teeth! Unethical, Immoral. Urghhh

I don’t take reverse mortgages very often because of this. If someone tells me they are not signing I don’t go. Luckily it’s been super rare.

I would never do a reverse to much trouble, I have better I do refis almost 100%.
