USA Signing Agent - last topic was closed

I continue to get “scheduling requests” that state they need a notary in my town for a $200 assignment and you can click on I’m available.

Then they send an email that says since you’re not registered for $49 a year they had to hire someone else.

To which I should respond oh baloney. Between these emails and Loan Signing Systems I’m getting about 30 a week.

I’m going to stick with not paying for a site registration.

Has anyone figured out what U S A actually stands for?

I’ve got at least five versions that I can’t write here or I’ll get kicked off.

I’ve been getting those offers again also. I just ignore the emails.

I send those emails to my spam folder and rarely see them anymore. I go and delete the folder contents every now and then. They do send out a lot of emails though.

Supposedly United Signing Agents. Because we all hold hands and sing Kumbayah.

I too have been getting these offers with a follow email saying I’m not registered. Next time, I will block them.

Good plan they always claim it’s local in my town and pays $200. Such a lie. I live in a rural area, signings in my town are rare.

@johnsonps306 I have been receiving those notification emails from that particular company, and, quite frankly, in my humble opinion, their marketing and solicitation tactics very much mirror a classic “bait and switch” scheme. It appears their strategy is to entice potential users to sign up and pay their membership fees by presenting unrealistic and overly optimistic projections or suggestions, essentially dangling the carrot of securing numerous loan signing order opportunities that promise significantly above-average market rates or fees. If that company actually had a steady stream of signing orders and needed agents to complete them. Just my thoughts, they would probably make more money by focusing on completing those orders and waiving their fees to secure more loan signing agents. Just my “two cents”, but what do I know, right!

I absolutely agree with you. I finally blocked them.

They have been around for years and I’ve seen many comments about notaries that have paid the fee and never heard from them again. If you can, check out how many notaries in your area are listed. You’ll probably find one or two or maybe five. That is not enough for any title company to use them.
