WARNING: AOE Signings, LLC, Tempe, AZ, D Will Torres/CEO => (formerly “Never Sleep Notary” that's now out of business)

Did a signing for AOE on 9/20/22 and still have not been paid. I filed a complaint with the AZ Secretary of State and will include NNA, BBB, and the other notary databases. If we all file with the AZ attorney General, I’m sure that would help as well. This is fraud. He is duping notaries of payment and we are under the Secretary of State for our state. It will have more punch if all of us sent complaints to the above and keep him from opening another business.

Yes, I received one too.

AZ SoS has a complaint form to complete and then mail in. Easy Peasy. However, best to send a complaint to the Attorney General as Dylan W Torres is/was a notary, # 203306815 but he is committing fraud over state lines and electronically.

I didn’t even open it or click the link because i did not do any signings for that company.

I did a job for them in August 2022 and when I emailed them I received a reply that is was forwarded to their accounting dept for payment. Never received the check or any more replies after several emails.

Hi all, I did a job for them as well on sep 2022, as of now I haven’t been paid yet, I’d called, emailed them several times with not response. The phone is disconnected.

I find it curious about Cindy because she gave me the same song and dance but I noticed others on here had reached out to her too. Also, telling me to reach out to the SOS was a DeadEnd. I never received payment from AOE four months later. .

WARNING Did a signing on 09/30/22 and was never paid or even a thank you for a 4 hour trip and arriving early in the morning due to borrowers having to get to work. Lots of paper. I’m finally going to serve him papers for what he owes me. How much of a late fee should I tack on?

Update: I hired an attorney through Legal Shield for my notary business. A letter was drawn up demanding payment, will see if Mr. Torres will continue to run or be a good little notary and pay his dues. At this point, it is the principle of the matter. P.S.: I was not able to tac on late fees at this point because they were not spelled out (made known) initially. However, I wanted to create a court case, at that point I could request court costs, plus interest, legal fees. I really hope it doesn’t go that far. This is regarding a 2-year-old assignment.

Hi Guy,

I realize this is an older thread, but I did want to say that I tried contacting the Arizona SOS with Mr. Dylan Torres’ Commission No., per Cindy’s recommendation at Stewart Title. However, it got me nowhere and fast. The person on the other end had no interest in the fact that this signing service and notary had not paid me. Now if it had been an error on a notarization, well that would be a different story. I don’t get it, notaries are screened and background checked annually so stealing should be high on the list of reports.

Thank you so much for this info. I will be forwarding the letter from my attorney.
