I never done DMV Signing so far , Last week i got one DMV Signing offer from Signdoc USA, LLC . They offer me $ 30 for 7-8 page to print with one notary and 8 miles one way travel. I accepted and done . Please educate me that is it okey with fees or should i negotiate for DMV signing in future. If yes then how much one should ask for ? Thanks
I won’t leave the house for less than $50. I have countered their offers with that amount and they never got back to me…so I guess someone snapped it up for $30. They can have it for those kind of peanuts.
Set yourself a $ per hour number and charge by that. Assuming you set $50 per hour and it takes 1 hour to perform the DMV signing and drive to the location and back, then quote Signdoc $50. If you calculate you will spend 2 hours then quote $100. I feel that anything less than $50 per hour and you are just doing someone a favor and not making money for yourself. As Steve11 said, you also have to have a minimum just to go to any location even if it is less than 1 hour of your time.
Just my opinion after 14 years.
One from SignDoc USA just came through Snapdcos for $30 for 2 page vehicle list. I did not take it because $30 is too low under any circumstances. I’ll be the company gets paid a whole lot more than that.
Do you have an idea as to how much signing service brokers, I.e. SnapDocs, SunShine, etc receive from the title companies or lenders?
I do a lot of loan modifications, Motgage Closings…I see their closing fees , i.e. $2500 etc. Nothing happens for them until we perform… Yet, they offer us crumbs.
