Personally, I am a huge fan of the Brother Monochrome dual-tray laser printer. I only have to buy BLACK TONER, not color. They run about $400 new. But sometimes you can find used ones for $200 or less. I see used ones on FB Marketplace from time to time and you can always try to negotiate further with the Seller if their listed price doesn’t fit you. Ask Seller to let you do a print test before you hand over money on FB Marketplace. (And be sure to ask if they will include any extra toner cartridges or drums they have left over!)
A nice thing about buying a USED dual tray laser printer, is that the printer will likely already be set up and ready to print letter & legal sized paper. If you buy a new unit, you have to do some set up to get it going but it is fairly straight forward and there are YouTube videos if you get stuck.
