Wow there is almost NOTHING in that part of Tennessee after you leave Knoxville and NASCAR country. That’s an interesting place to choose to be a mobile notary. But in Pigeon Forge I expect property does move. But why mobile notary? Just curious. I lived in White House almost 40 years. That area probably still red hot market.

I live near Bristol (Nascar Country). Go east past Bristol and you’re right, there is nothing much but mountains and open land. I live in theTri-Cities area. Total population is over 500,000 people. I have a teenage son and one that is almost a teenager so this job gives me the flexibility I need with them and I enjoy the work.

$85!!! Main reason why i only do general notary work. I have made quite a reputation for myself locally. I charge $75 for most POA within a 10 mile radius. $90 for Wills and POA combo. No printing and done in 10-15 (only because I am chatty) minutes.

[Signing Profit Quicksheet] [Link removed by NC moderators - if interested in this paid app, please DM @jaime directly], I built a quick simple tool where you can plugin some basic figures to calculate the profitability of a signing assignment. enter 4 numbers, Fee, Miles,Pages and your hourly goal.

Way to go! I’ve had my own for years. Do think you missed an important factor–Drive time–it’s a variable that impacts fee big time, imho. At least in my area it does.

@Arichter Agreed! Major impact!

Drive time is calculated in the field with an 60 mph avg. you can adjust that to suit the real time figures, but yes it’s there

TO ALL NOTARY CAFE MEMBERS:

If you’d like a FREE spreadsheet to perform this calculation, reach out to Rod:

Here’s his direct Notary Cafe url link that is within my thread about Creating Your Individualized Schedule of Fees:

Wow, cNsa5, that’s kind of a slap in the face, I try to promote a simple tool, that I built. Do you work for free?? and you point people to a free source. That’s ruthless, it’s my first time on this forum and I’m already being bullied out. @RodinDestin , fantastic that you built a tool.

@jaime Sorry you took it personally . . .

According to Notary Cafe forum Guidelines ADVERTISING to fellow members is not acceptable behavior.

Hi @jaime,

I am sorry for any misunderstanding. Unsolicited advertisements for personal apps and services that require payments are not allowed on the forums. For every legitimate, helpful service, we are asked to allow others with less “good intentions.” The choice to disallow advertisements was put in place to avoid any conflicts.

We have no problem with users replying to others who request options, but we would appreciate being upfront about any costs associated with services.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thanks,

Jaime ~ sorry I had to laugh 60 mph comment. Bonney Lake WA drive never 60mph ~ more like 20mph to 40mph (if lucky). Bonney Lake population is approaching 300,000 but lot of seniors and highways have not kept up with growth. At least I never get a speeding ticket :upside_down_face:

What is the name of the signing company?

Hello Arichter,
What is the name of the signing company. I live in Orlando, Florida.

@mjohnston1030 FYI: Oftentimes if the hiring entity name is excluded from the myriad posts [a total of 8 Replies above] by the Original Poster [OP]/Thread Creator [TC], their preference is to NOT divulge it.

Of course, you can always ask! We’ll watch for her Reply.

The topic of NOT DIVULGING the Signing Service [SS] business name was recently discussed. Please Review the following Notary Cafe thread:

I don’t remember & haven’t kept the blast e-mail cuz I didn’t take the job. It makes no difference cuz they all do it when nobody accepts the lowballs they pitch.

@Arichter Absolutely Accurate! :white_check_mark:
