Is anyone familiar with BC-Law? Accordng to their website, they are out of Florida. I have received an unsolicited email from this firm concerning a closing in my state of North Carolina.
Just wondering if anyone has completed any closings with them. Are they legit and pay ontime?

A quick search on the Florida bar association attorney directory, shows Mr. Carothers is very much a licensed Florida attorney:

If this contact information matches the email requests you received, that is a step in the right direction. But if you have a gut feeling that something is off, call them directly. Do a Google search and then go straight to the source, rather than just asking here.
(P.S. if the unsolicited email you received came from someone other than (name)@bc-lawfirm.com then I would consider it is a scam, but if the mail was from the same domain as the attorney’s website, I think it is safe to assume it is a real business, especially given he is a licensed attorney.)
