Beware of Notaroo. I’ve been getting the run around on payment since 6/11/2024. Today is 8/14/2024.
According to Snapdocs, Notaroo, Inc. is based in Pasadena, CA.
Phone: (480) 477-9627
Email: notaroo_team@notaroo.com
Concerns:
Their payment terms are net 45. Yet, they fail to pay net 45.
They do not answer the phone.
They do not return calls.
They do not offer their name or extention when responding to an email. The response is generic. For example:
“Thanks so much for notifying us on this matter and we apologize for the delay! We’ve CC’ed our Finance Team to address this & they will follow up as soon as possible to get this resolved for you. Please note, that their initial response won’t be until closer to the end of the day.
All the best,
Notaroo Customer Success Team – JD
(480) 477-9627”
“We’re sorry to hear your check hasn’t been received yet. It’s possible it has been lost in transit. Can you please confirm your mailing address?
Regards,
Notaroo Finance Department finance@notaroo.com”
Hi Julie,
Im getting the same run around from Notaroo, they owe me a total of $225 altogether. They used to never be this way, but that is beside the point. We need to be paid!!! I’m ranking them with Coast 2 Coast and Cloud Signing and that is bad.
They are based out of 342 N Queen St Lancaster, PA 17603
I’m contacting the Attorney Generals Office you should do the same.
Why does Notaroo have an Arizona phone number? Call the atty general office for Arizona and make a complaint. Kris Mayes is the atty general for AZ. www.azag.gov
I stopped taking orders from them over a year ago, and I wrote them a letter as to why after receiving a ridiculous email saying funding is delayed for reverse mortgage. They are operating on notary fees. I still get reverse mortgage orders and I charge more for them and get it. And I work with companies that pay twice a month. So Notaroo can keep using brand new notaries - because that’s the only notaries who will work for them. If you’re brand new and need training, they can give helpful training. But I don’t work for anyone anymore who can’t pay on time.
That’s their standard run around. After I notified the title company and threatened legal action they finally paid me. They mail checks which is a new practice-when they were on signingorder.com they used DeLuxe E checks. I also demanded that they provide a check number since everything they send ‘gets lost in the mail.’ One and Done with them on Snapdocs now.
Good day everyone,
I too have been getting the runaround from Notaroo. Recently, I took two closings with Notaroo, and after 30 days, I realized that I did not receive my checks. I contacted them and was told that they pay every 45 days. I had no other choice but to wait. Now it has been 50 days or more, and they are still stalling, asking me if the address to which the checks were sent was correct, trying to gaslight me. It has become painfully obvious that these small independent companies do not care to adhere to their contractual guidelines, which means they are not honorable. If they have no honor, they have no respect for the partnership. While they do pay above average, which is enticing, remember: a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.
With so many notaries being tossed around, “class action” keeps running through my mind. I believe that, based on the treatment we all have been receiving, these companies think we do not have a leg to stand on. However, united we do. They think that because we are not employees, we have no recourse or support from the state or the EEOC to hold them accountable. Here is what we do have: numbers. We have a preponderance of evidence of breach of contract, and non-payment, which causes harm to every one of us. We should come together and start a class action for payment and damages. I believe that if we set an example with one company, the rest will fall in line. Note that it only takes 2 Notaries to start a class action. These are my thoughts, and I am open to comments and suggestions.
