I’ve been working with a signing company that I like doing business with. However, a job on Friday was canceled then rescheduled for Monday. It was mistakenly assigned to another notary. Had an evening job from them on Monday as well. They changed the day to Tuesday and I couldn’t be there in time from another job. So basically, I lost 3 jobs in 2 days from the same company. Is this just “the breaks” ? I didn’t get an assignment from anywhere yesterday after their cancellations. Any comments or suggestions?

I’d rethink doing business with them and place them in my bad company list. Notaries don’t make money that way. I read a thread on here on another topic, that they accept assignments and who ever produced the documents on time is the assignment they’ll do first everyone else will need to get cancelled or rescheduled. I don’t know how well it works, but you probably need to know which companies get docs on time and which ones don’t.
