Has anyone been able to have effective communications with CloseWise’s support team?
I created an account/profile with them in late June, say the 25th. My profile is still showing 2 credential as pending - ID Verification and Notary Training Certificate, both of which were uploaded when I signed up.
I’ve emailed them twice and [hone calls just go to voicemail with a “we will text/get back to you” response. Has anyone had similar experiences or actually been able to get a response from them?
I’m a brand new Notary and this sort of experience, across multiple platforms (not Notary Cafe or Snapdocs) is very frustrating and in my mind unprofessional in an industry where the highest standards of professionalism is demanded from us.
@russ I have no direct experience working with that business entity; however, one of the longtime & well-respected Notary Cafe members regularly posts about them. Adding him @cfletcher to this post for you.
These are not always “professional” companies that we’re dealing with. Some of them are outright scams. I’m not sure about Closewise, but I suspect that they may be one of those on the dark side. I say that because they are one of those companies asking us for money if we want to get signings from them. I signed up as a “free” member of their site months ago and have not received one job offer from them, but I continually get emails urging me to “subscribe”.
@russ, I am a subscriber to CloseWise. As with any young organization, there are occasional issues that are not always resolved with the desired expediency. I initially learned of CloseWise through NotaryStars, and currently regard it as a premium notary business tool. During Remote Online Notarization (RON) sessions, I have utilized their chat feature for technical support, although I prefer direct human interaction. Their technical/customer support is generally prompt; however, there have been instances where issue resolution has taken up to one day. So far from my experienced with Closewise has been very beneficial.
Thank you for posting this, as I am looking for a company to help me stay organized. I’ve looked at Notary Assist and will probably go with them. Sincerely, Robin
I love Notary Assist you made a good decision, I have been using it for a few years now and have actually met the owner at one of the Loan Signing conference in San Diego.
I have my profile set up and have uploaded a couple of signings that I have received from other platforms (Snapdocs and Notary Go) but have heard nothing from/through Closewise. Is it just a platform for us to use to “keep ourselves organized”?
I’ve signed up for the Pro level, but can’t see anywhere that potential orders are listed.
@RobinPaNotary I previously utilized NotaryAssist, and while it was a budget-friendly option at under ten dollars per month and provided some basic organizational benefits, I have since transitioned to a more comprehensive and feature-rich platform, specifically CloseWise. This shift has allowed me to access a wider array of resources, tools, and functionalities that are now much better aligned with the evolving needs and strategic goals of my notary business, enabling me to operate more efficiently and effectively.
Hi, I signed up on their platform in Spring, 2025, the forgot about them for awhile. Someone wanted to give me a notary job for late October, and said she uses CloseWise. I went to their website and made a profile with my most recent email. So… I currently have two profiles, and I have been emailing their support since Aug 1 about that. Weeks ago, I searched the website/platform, and could not find a phone number, so I used Chat GPT and got one. That led to a virtual attendant, who was able to repeat my inquiry and stated someone would call to combine the profiles and apply the assignment. No One Called. I do believe I got an email telling me to email support@CloseWise. Very frustrating. That is what I had been trying with no luck for two months. Is there really a person there who can help?? I hope so. (They are fairly new, so hopefully communication will improve)
@marci.sunsetnotary, based on my experience, it appears that CloseWise primarily offers technical and customer support through their chat function within the platform and also via email correspondence. I would suggest trying both methods to see which one yields a quicker response. It’s been my experience, all these notary platforms seems to push their virtual customer service using chat or email. Currently, I subscribe to CloseWise Professional Growth membership, so I do understand your position.
