Companies that do not pay

Snapdocs is just a service to connect signing companies and signing opportunities with signing agents. Those text messages about signing opportunities are sent to all notaries in the area (depending on where you are located that could be HUNDREDS of people). Notaries are also given rankings on Snapdocs - the higher your ranking the better your chance of getting an assignment (you stated that you just signed up with the, so your ranking may not be high yet). Plus the signing companies see who has replied available and can still just pick whomever they like. So if you didn’t get an assignment it might mean that your weren’t the fastest to reply or maybe your ranking wasn’t high enough or maybe you don’t have a good relationship with that signing company or maybe a plethora of other reasons. It sucks, but that’s the business! I have a “High” ranking on Snapdocs and I have worked with many of these signing companies for years but I don’t get every deal that I reply to!
Just stay positive and actively work on your business every day!

Enough is enough, somethings should be done about this! some agents do this after retiring like myself, at any rate, I don’t want to be taken advantage of, where is our protection? Notary Spot, something
got to be wrong with a company treating people like that.

Do not accept any work from The Notary Spot Beware! Beware! I did 1 assignment back in 8/9/16. I have called, sent emails but I’m not getting anywhere. If you know a Notary that is in the business , please share with her/him.

I agree . I’m still waiting for payment for 8/9/2016.

Speedy Closing and Title Services went bankrupt!!!

NOTARY POOL…DO NOT PAY!!! I accepted an assignment back last summer, traveled almost 2 hours, at borrowers home for over 2 hours and still not paid. I have called and called and called. I have left messages, emails and even requested pay through Snapdocs. STILL NOTHING.

Don’t take any jobs from THE NOTARY SPOT !!!

The Notary Spot owes me for the following loans:
I know I will never get paid so I am writing it off!

Jodie, if I were you, I would not write this off. I’d do one of three things:

  1. Find a good collection agency who will collect your past due invoices for a small percentage of the fee; or
  2. Turn to the title company on each loan for payment;
  3. Since you’re both in TX, file a small claims action against them and recover your fees PLUS court costs - include the title company in your SC petition…

Letting them get away with this just gives them more fuel to continue to do this type of thing to others. Plus, you say you’re just going to “write it off” - if you mean just forget about it that’s one thing; if you’re referring to writing off the loss on your taxes, you may not be able to depending on what form of bookkeeping method you use - cash or accrual.

Good luck but I seriously would not let them get away with it.

NNA stopped supporting notaries from the beginning - suggested fee for closing $60.00, when the going rate was $100.00. Now they are a joke. You’re right they’re just in it for the money.
Been a “signing specialist” for over 11 years. The certification exam used to be given every two years, along with background check. Now it’s every year. The majority of the questions have nothing to do with the actual loan documents but procedures to follow prior, during and after signing. The alleged borrower’s need to know what they’re signing is not part of the equation. This is my last year as a member.

I have also been waiting for pay since jan 2015 for three Apostles. I have tried calling and emailing with no luck.

I have the same issue with THE NOTARY POOL…past due on three!!!

Finally got paid after emailing Rudy and the Title company. It was the actual check they said the sent 4 months earlier.

Please call the owner on his cell phone:

LindaH,

I have already tried to serve “The Notary Spot”, and no one acknowledged the letter at the address I have for them, therefore it came back undeliverable.

It cost $75 to serve them, $150 to file. Now, I am in debt for the $400.00 “The Notary Spot” owes me, and $225.00 I have spent on attempting to sue them. I will not invest anymore time.

I never respond to those text messages. If they can’t contact me directly by phone, I don’t do business with them.

I contacted the FBI today about Mortgage Docs. There is definitely something wrong when their website shows a pay date, and yet payment is not being received.

I did the certified letters, with return receipt twice. No pickup for the P.O. Box, and the other to the address was returned undeliverable. I have to believe that it was planned. We may never recoup the money lost, but Mike Tomlinson just cost himself a lot more than he ever stood to gain. I cut my losses and will sit back to watch as he destroys what could have been a good thing.

Mortgage docs is another one, they have the elite Chase as a client and they are stiffing us? Because they can, we have to work together to bring these folks down.

National Loan Closings has been owing me for the November 11, 2016 signing I did for them. Had 3 total, paid correctly for first 2. So far nothing on this last 1.
Each email sends back auto reply of pay schedule… The call taker, only takes the info, no call backs. I need to be paid… Won’t take another ever unless paid with docs.
