Company new to me

I was offered a Signing with Creative Signings, who I have never worked with before. They accepted my bid and sent me their requirements. I carefully read them and I saw that their payment policy would be from 45 to as many as 60 days. I have been doing this for four years, Have hundreds of signings, and have dropped two companies who paid me very late. I informed them that the maximum I will wait for payment is 40 days and asked them to please remove me from the signing. Don’t want to have to chase someone for payment. No docs yet anyway. Most companies I deal with pay me no later than 35 days, some even after two weeks. Wondering how others feel about this and whether they would’ve accepted this type of payment lag.

@Myshadowmax You’re absolutely correct! This payment interval is certainly much longer than it should be as they’re usually paid within a few days.

  • DO keep an abbreviated payment turnaround interval.

A reasonable payment timeframe with a Title/Escrow Company [T/EC], Attorney, etc. is 5 to 7 calendar days.

For Signing Services [SSs], 7 to 21 calendar days.

Anything longer than those intervals is considered an EXTENDED interval for payment.
