Field Choice Will Not Pay

My payment is going on 60 days past due Friday. They will not respond to phone calls. By email, their only response is we are trying to match TIN to me. I have sent a new W9. Still I get the same response. I looked them up on Notary Rotary and they have a 3 star rating. Several people have posted that Field Choice has not paid them. So sad that we have to put up with this kind of treatment for so little or in this case no pay.

Unfortunately, there are multiple business entities that are now choosing the route of non-payment due to the “low volume” of Signing Orders [SOs].

Those are business entities that are underfunded.

I actually had to ask them about a February payment that was due and they said my TIN didn’t match records. Thought that was odd, no one else has said that.

I will keep working for them. Overall I really like them. The scheduler calls me direct.

Field Choice used to be one of my favorite signing services. I got so many orders and had no problem getting paid. It’s unfortunate that you’ve had this experience, but don’t give up hope. Not excusing Field Choice, but even big companies have bad days sometimes. I have had billing problems with a few good companies, at the end of the day eventually payment was made.

I appreciate your optimism. I hope you’re right.

Just a quick follow up on my original post. Thanks to all of you who added comments to my post. I followed suggestions and I’m pleasantly surprised. I received a check by email. I would like to add, communication goes both ways. Better communication from Field choice would have been appreciated.

They paid me for February today also. Which wasn’t late, really so I’m glad they fixed whatever issue they were having.
