Surprisingly, yes. I did receive a call from a mineral rights company. The request involved a single signature, so it fell under standard GNW (General Notary Work). The appointment itself would have taken approximately 15 minutes. However, when I attempted to schedule with the signer, an elderly woman in her 90s, it became clear that she did not fully comprehend the nature of the transaction. Because of this, the appointment could not be scheduled.
Shortly afterward, her son contacted me and explained that his mother had been receiving repeated calls from the mineral rights company, to the point of feeling harassed. Based on the consumer’s lack of understanding and her unwillingness to proceed, I informed the paying client that I would need to decline the assignment. I also advised that the documents and payment would be securely shredded. The client understood and agreed.
So yes, I have received a referral from the site mentioned.
