Goldberg & Associates

I received an email and phone call from Goldberg and Associates regarding enrollment with FamilyLawResources.com, inviting me to join their network. They emphasized the need for notaries and claimed that becoming part of their group is an exclusive opportunity, ensuring they will refer clients to you. While they mentioned that joining is free, they stated that the cost for enrollment to be added to their database is $250. Has anyone heard of this company or used their services? Is it legitimate?

I receive the same email I’m curious just like you hopefully somebody has or they know what’s going on I just hope it’s not a scam, but I’m not paying 250 to join

Their business is litigation support and they want $250 from you for the privilege of being listed in their so called “Network Provider Referral Service Directory”? Save your hard earned money. Unless you have :moneybag: to :heart_on_fire:

There are so many predatory marketing notary databases, so be careful, verify, and research each offer.

@cfletcher Concur :100: percent.

Add to those the “predatory marketing” of the 6-figure training as well as the “predatory marketing” of unethical mentors and the result is a perfect storm to take advantage of unsuspecting notaries public new to this business sector.

@Beverly You’re very Welcome :tada:

It always best to think ‘critically’ by evaluating their potential ulterior motives.

I appreciate your demeanor to question their objective, think critically, & Search for information prior to investing. :dizzy:

I received an email and phone call from Mr. Goldberg, and he began his sales pitch by saying that joining his website is free and doesn’t cost anything. He also kept wanting me to send him my resume and curriculum vitae in order to be “considered”, even though I had not yet decided. I told him I might be interested, but need some time to review the details. Later that day, I received an official invoice requesting payment for $250. It was quite presumptuous. I didn’t appreciate the way his voice messages and emails stated that there was no cost. Sure, after you pay $250; then it’s free? I said no and moved on.

@SouthTexasNotary,I received the information and invoice, and was asked to respond quickly so he could begin vetting other candidates for the position he was holding for me. After some thought, I decided not to proceed, suspecting it might be a scam. I’m so glad I chose not to move forward and instead posted here to get valuable feedback and insight.

I haven’t and I would see if the fee can be taken month to month.
