How long did you take to get jobs assigned after joining the online signing agent networks?

I am a new Notary and CSA. I have completed my profiles and included Zip Codes of the areas I can visit as a mobile notary and NSA. However, I have never received a job. How do we measure saturation of the market in our area? How can I better market my services?

@ritapaixao78 Excellent question! :partying_face:There are myriad variables that negatively (or positively) affect this business sector.

Have you taken a look over the thousands of threads that are immediately available via the GOLDMINE found within the Notary Cafe database through the Search Function?

Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of information available within the database.

To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.

I’ve performed a cursory Search on your behalf and here are a few threads that should elucidate the topic of your query to give you a head start in your Research:

Accessing the database to locate information about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ‘chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . . :crown:

Hello @cNsa5! Thanks for your response. I had used the Search to look for similar questions before posting mine. However, even the ones that you collect in your compilation are outdated (2019/2020/2021). At that time, interests rates were way lower, and I believe there were more opportunities. I am looking for information of the current market (2024). How new NSAs are doing to highlight and better market their services? Are there real opportunities for newbies?

@ritapaixao78 Hmmm . . . Regrets that you found NO VALUE in the insights & wisdom provided.

Please consider the fact that some constants within an industry never change, which is why those are threads referenced - due to their VALIDITY OVER TIME - regardless of the current market conditions. Thus, that data isn’t outdated. It’s TIMELESS. As you’re new and have no historical perspective to enable an accurate evaluation of the data provided, it may be sagacious to reconsider your stated position.

In addition, one of the threads I provided is a mere 14 days old . . . which certainly ISN’T DATED.

The entire thread answers your query directly. Within that FIRST thread listed (dated from 14 days ago) there are a litany of additional insightful & helpful threads.

If you’re asking “How can I be wise with my money?” - You owe it to yourself to review the data within ALL of those threads within that FIRST REFERENCED thread to Research & Read all of them to arm yourself with the knowledge you’ve requested.

Perform your own due diligence to make the determination for your specific region of the country.

I’ve inserted the direct url here once again for the FIRST THREAD REFERENCED for your easy access . . .

If I were currently a newbie investigating this business sector, researching the long-term & short-term income potential, and stability, the following would be my assessment to your followup query:

No.

I’d certainly not invest in any of the ‘sales pitches’ being marketed on YouTube and other social media. Be certain that you engage your critical thinking skills to preclude yourself from becoming a victim of con-men or other shysters who endeavor to separate people from their hard-earned money . . . Nor would I invest in launching this type of business within this business sector.

There are multiple locations that you can directly access that data, one of which is via the Notary Cafe forum.

  • Go to “Find A Notary”
  • Enter the data for your region of the country
  • Analyze the results for your region

Here is an image of where to locate the “Find A Notary” Search Field:
