Hi Guys, I have a loan signing for tomorrow at 12pm and the package that was sent over to me was draft up in the state of Texas. would I just use the Washington short form individual acknowledgment?
I would just make sure that the venue was correct in the Ack by a single line thru ‘wrong’ state/county and add correct state/county above or next to ‘wrong’ venue….and initial correction.
You just correct as indicated. Be sure to add resides at with your city and state because that’s required language in a Washington notarization, and it rarely appears on the notarizations that come with a package from out of state.
I use Adobe and correct all those things before I print them.
Okay, so here’s what I think: Check the Texas one against what your state of Washington uses. If they’re the same, you’re good to go. If not, reach out to who hired you and ask if it’s cool to use your state’s version. That’s what I do when the docs don’t match Florida’s rules.
