That depends on the signing service you receive closings from. You have to look at the pay schedules. A lot of companies pay out 30 days but alot also pay out 45 business days, excluding Sundays and holidays. Offer Fees Reached a New Low

Some of my favorite companies are even doing this. I’m only seeing refinances/purchases with scan backs for $80. HELOCs with scans for $70 from Mortgage Connect (and those packages are like 140-150+ pages). Sellers for $75. It’s well below the $150-175 the jobs are actually worth and even lower than my minimum of $100. No way to make a profit through these companies right now. With the scarcity of alerts, you can’t even really stack a bunch of low paying orders. This is so sad…

It’s always wise to research & vet a new client prior to providing a definitive confirmation to them for your initial Signing Order for them. A great start of research would begin within the Notary Cafe forums Search Function.

A request has been submitted on numerous occasions [to BRIGHTEN the Magnifying Glass] over the years to the Notary Cafe Team Leads. That request has been reportedly passed onto the programmers of the site => that members find it difficult/nearly impossible to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of info available within the database.
