I did a signing for them back in November 2016. They did not pay until I sent email to the lender.
They finally paid in March 2017.
Guess what? Their check bounced for NSF and my bank charged me $19 fee for that.
So please stay away from this MortgageDocs LLC forever

I did a closing for them back in June and still haven’t been paid. I called so many times it isn’t funny. I took them as a loss doing taxes. Ive refused to work for them since. They use to be a good company to work for. Its a shame, but they are on my list of companies to never work for under any circumstances again. With a bounced check you should be able to turn it into the authorities. If you cant collect , maybe they will be arrested.

Be sure to post a review on BBB. There are a couple there already for this company. Not all signing agents are signed up with NotaryCafe. By posting to BBB you will reach a wider audience. I have one outstanding with them and should similar happen as it did to you then I will make a report on BBB.

They have an inviice that you have to fill out and email it to them. I always get paid within a reasonable timeframe.

No, MortgageDocs does not have an invoice that you complete. Not to my knowledge. Are you sure you’re not mixing them up with Mortgage Connect?

My latest update on this company is BBB told me they do not handle non-payment of notary fee complaints. They’ve referred me to file with the FTC.

And then the very latest is you may want to attempt e-mailing Rudy Baldoni, CEO, at rudy.baldoni@mortgagedocs.com. Today I received a response back from him. Actually, two responses indicating payment will be processed and mailed. We shall see.

I too did work for them in 2018 and have never received a check - or response -or anything from the many times I have “tried” to contact them. One phone number was no longer working. My emails apparently went through but no response. I will not do business with them ever again.
