I had my first experience with this company and all I can say is that they are absolutely the worst. When they contacted me with an application assignment, I gave Christopher Humes Scheduling and Processing Manager, my terms in writing and he agreed to them in writing. When I called to ask for payment Christopher Humes lied and said that I would be paid when the loan closed in 2 weeks. I asked him how the loan would close if the borrower had been denied ( I called the borrower to ask him where it stood). I told him that I would start collection activities if I was not paid immediately and involved Melanie Muck the owner of the company. They did not like my collection tactics and to date I have not been paid. I am not done with them and will continue with my collection efforts. Unless you want to waste your time, do not accept any business from this company they are the lowest of scum and bunch of LIARS. They have never provided me with a reason of why they will not pay me except perhaps that they do not like how I collect my money which is not a valid excuse anyhow because they were told before and chose to ignore my request. Stay FAR FAR away from these low life’s.
Perhaps you should call Title. I recently got paid ( after 94 days) by a company after I called Title twice and threatened collection. I will not work with the firm again. But you have a right to persevere and get your money.
Sorry to hear that you’ve had a bad experience. I have worked with this company for a couple of years and I find them to be professional, pay well and are prompt. Their paperwork is easy to present, concise and there is no hand holding and instructions up the wazoo not to wear cutoffs, tank shirts, yada, yada.
The only time there has been a glitch in payment is when I got so busy, I forgot to submit and invoice for my services. Once they received the invoice, I got paid. I will work for them anytime.
I’m very thankfull that in my 20 yrs only one signing co from CA took me for $500 and that was because they went bankrupt.
National 1 Source tried to pull a fast one and immediately they paid me. TIP
Send them a letter of what you’ll do. Notify the attorney general in their state, Secretary of State who regulates notaries,
The Lender, the Borrower, BBB. Bring it up on THEIR FACEBOOK let THEIR CONTACTS and FRIENDS know how
crooked they are!. Call them every day fax them the invoice daily. Goo luck!!
Oh! and yes contact the Department in their state that regulates TITLE COMPANIES!
Enough is Enough, sportsfans pull all your unpaid invoices and good luck, just do it!!
I have been in the business 15 years collected everything except from Speedy Notary, Frank Amari in Ringoes NJ who filed Bankruptcy on me and everyone else. I had a good relationship with him and he paid me while not paying anyone else until the end when I got stuck holding the bag for about $300.00. I pulled his Bankruptcy filing only to find that I got away cheaply. He owed $480,000.00 at the time of his filing to other unsuspecting and hard working notaries, It was probably much more than that because on the filing I was only listed for $85.00. Everything I have written about National 1 is verifiable as I have copies of all the emails including the one where they accepted my terms of payment. They have never given me a reason for non payment. Not only is Melanie Muck SCUM she is a disgusting Christian as in response to me she quoted versus from the bible in her emails. Religious beliefs have no place in business. Don’t get suckered in by the way she is treating you now, you will get screwed in the end as I did with Frank Amari, it is just a matter of time. They received my invoice and all my credentials, my system generates them automatically. They received my invoice about 3X and were warned of what I would do in collection. They chose to ignore everything. I am not done with them and won’t back off until they are gone or pay me what they owe as a mater of principle. I expect many companies in this industry to go out of business this year and the slow paying ones will be the first to go. The re-fi business is very slow, many of the mortgage lenders I deal with in another business have told me that it is virtually non-existent. Best of luck with National 1, personally I think you are threading on thin ice and it not only me as other notaries have reported the same. Just read all the bulletin boards and be prepared for the worst.
The problem is they are the Title company. Notified their client and their client does not care either since the work is done and they declined the borrower, I filed a complaint the the State Attorney General,The Secretary of State and the Colorado Division of Insurance. Hopefully they will be hearing soon. Have not had the time yet but will file a complaint with the BBB. Its not about the money anymore it the principal of the matter that they think they can get away without paying their notaries at will.
There is in the State of Colorado a department that regulates Title Companies. I would guess that both Chris and Ms Muck
are bothe notaries check with the state that too is public information. I received my check Saturday not a big amount only
$125 but like you, it was the principle. Good luck!
Hi Sal
Gave them until 2pm today to pay me via Pay-Pal otherwise the all the letters I wrote will go out and I will send them the tracking numbers. CO Division of Insurance, Atty General and Secretary of State. I will also file with the FBI Division that investigates internet fraud and the BBB in their area. I can also sue them in small claims court and they will have to hire an attorney to respond or I will get a default judgement. Do me a favor and keep a copy of their check so I can levy their account if it becomes necessary. They only owe me $80.00 which was the first part of an application signing but I never got the second part because the borrower was declined. Before I agreed to do the first part Chris agreed to my terms in an email that stated that I needed to be paid regardless of the status of the borrower. Then he lied stating that I would be paid in 2 wks when the loan closed, I asked him how that could be when the borrower was declined. They are Real Bad News, almost worse than IFIELDSERVICES but I collected from them because they were not as hard headed as Melanie Muck appears to be. She will find out when she hopefully has her Notary and Title Licenses suspended or revoked. I am asking for an investigation into her business because this now seems to be her mode of operation.
