Amongst the rabbit hole I fell in looking for this information, Indiana has something like that as well. I wouldn’t be a paralegal. It goes by legal document preparer, certified legal document preparer, etc. Legal document preparers are qualified to help fill out and file docs without having to be under an attorney. There are no classes or certification courses to take, unless you take something for paralegal. But to do what I want to do, there is nothing listed.

Kasheena, state rules vary wildly on LDAs, LLLTs, paralegals, etc. It can be confusing. Just make sure you are following your state’s laws. Maybe the fastest way to get a straight answer on this for you would be to call a local law firm.
i reached out with no respons from them. I’ve looked up my state codes and everything. So far, all i’m seeing is what the docs needs to make it conform to state laws.
