Non borrowing spouse

Hello All!

I have a refinance signing tomorrow that is a split signing with a non borrowing spouse. I am the second notary to complete the documents. I am wondering if I need to provide the non borrowing spouse with a copy of the entire loan package or just the few pages he is signing?? Any advise would be greatly appreciated, this will be my first signing!

Thanks

Check with your hiring party - at the very least I would give them a copy of everything they signed along with a copy of the CD and Note; and don’t forget they get two copies of the NORTC

Thanks! I have reached out to them and waiting to hear. I just wasn’t sure if there was a “standard” when handling these. I planned on leaving a copy of the entire package but was questioning myself.

That was my usual practice.

Husband and wife is usually one copy for both, but most of the time the hiring party tell you how many copies, standard is one copy, if they need more than one copy you can negotiate with hiring party for another $10-$15 extra
