Aloha fellow-notaries from Sacramento county, CA – I received a call from this company called; Extreme Marketing claiming to partner with Google, After asking numerous of questions, including my physical address which I did not give, I started to think, SKEPTI CAL — then the quote comes…the rep Robert, if its his name…quoted $300. but will give me only a one-time charge of $199. for a life of service benefits on google which customers will ALWAYS pick my notary services. After I said, “Thank you, but I will leave my options open” HE HUNG UP! So…beware and listen to marketers how they talk. Thank you for your immediate attention, have a pleasant day.
Some might be bogus marketing… some might not.
I engaged the services of one of these marketing firms. I paid $200.00 but they went to bat for me with Google to get my business verified. And they succeeded! My business listing is now active and verified on Google. So, for me, it was money well spent. Your mileage may vary. It does take a bit of patience to work with them as they are very busy and it’s not like they can respond to you instantaneously. But, eventually, they got the job done, in my case.
“Caveat Emptor,” as in all cases. I’m pretty much comfortable doing my own optimization work, but what I really needed from the firm was their access to the Google Business support team, And I got that. Yes, I can ask them marketing questions for life, and it may take them a while to respond, but I will only do so when I need a specific answer to a question.
