I had a quick question for those of you who use SigningOrder — do the signing services leave ratings or reviews on our profiles after a signing is completed?
If they do, is there a way for us (as signing agents) to see those reviews or ratings anywhere in our dashboard, or are they only visible to the companies using the platform?
Just trying to understand how the platform works. I’m still a new notary.
This is a pet peeve of mine. On signingorders.com the notary does not have access to any reviews left by a signing service. I have talked with them about this and their response was it is for internal use only. My problem with that is a signing service could leave a negative response, and you don’t only not know about it, but they make no effort to verify the comment either. If companies are using those comments to make a hiring decision on a notary then we should at the very least know about them and should have the opportunity to refute those comments. I too have had a signing service look at my profile. Currently that is the only way you can know if anything, good or bad is on there.
@daniel2 I want to address the important issue you’ve raised regarding how borrowers and signers evaluate our work as signing agents. It’s true that different companies handle this feedback in various ways; some provide monthly rating reports, while others choose to display these evaluations directly within our profiles on the platform. As @takenotenotaryservices pointed out, SigningOrder’s stance on this matter seems to be that the ratings are solely for internal use, which, understandably, can be concerning. However, it’s worth noting that we, as signing agents, have the ability to take proactive steps. We can conduct our own surveys, gathering feedback directly from both signers and the signing companies we work with, allowing us to gain a more comprehensive understanding of our performance and identify areas for improvement..
I’ve only seen ratings reflected on JOT, snapdocs and Mortgage Connect. I didn’t even know Signing Order had ratings. I don’t get much from them these days, maybe I made someone mad enough to issue a bad rating there. Oh well.
