I was made aware today that signingorder.com has an internal notary review options for their vendors/clients. I was made aware because one of the companies on the platform that I stopped working with because of their shady pricing practices posted a lie, claiming that I only scan documents using my phone opposed to a regular scanner. Firstly, I’m far too busy to scan by phone. A 200 page package would take me over an hour to scan by phone so it’s comedical for them to post this as a review because obviously it’s a lie. I only get 10% of my business from signingorder so I’m worried about that false review impacting my business but it’s annoying that just because we can’t agree to disagree about my cost of a signing that they would go to this point to attempt jepardize my business.
A/K/A the problem with platforms. Way too much power and the unrestrained ability to say anything they want with no accountability.
And can I ask how you found this information?
IF you have good relationship with a signing service on signing order they can look it up and let you know what is being said.

You have to get someone with access to tell you. Not everyone who works for a service has access to notary rankings
Ok I will try to make it clear if you know the owner of a signing service on signing order they can look up your name and get the comments good or bad.
I had this happen in real time with MC. The vendor mgmt team switched off my access until I was able to state my case. I was reinstated but I no longer trust them. They should be more concerned about what we have to say about them TBT.
To be completely fair though, how many times have they heard stories from notaries who have made mistakes or done something against their terms. I think we all deserve the 2nd chance we get on the phone and fight to get, but do you think everyone is 100% honest with the services?
Because that’s not realistic either.
Earl I have learned to bite my tongue a lot. Because I find some things said here are pretty unacceptable.
People will only tell their versions of the story. They will rarely admit fault and acknowledge that whatever was said about them (assuming it is negative) is accurate. At the very least, the signing service or platform should listen to what the notary has to say about any given accusation before handing down punishment in whatever form that takes.
