I am a new Notary in Los Angeles, California. I have enlisted almost all of the Notary and Loan signing platforms. So far order received zero except from my own website https://bhuiyanotary.com Why don’t get any orders from any platform? Example, I have an account with https://www.notaryresume.com/, and I have requested signing orders so far 50+ and the order was confirmed zero even though I am a paid member!! If we don’t get any orders from those platforms as a new Notary or loan signing agent, how can we start? Any suggestions?
@bhuiyanotary, it’s essential to persistently identify and reach out to various title companies and signing services as potential clients. By actively engaging with these entities and presenting your services, you’ll significantly increase your chances of receiving notifications about available loan signing assignments. However, it’s crucial to acknowledge that the majority of these opportunities are often disseminated through mass text or email blasts to a broader network of Loan Signing Agents (LSAs). Therefore, you should be prepared for a competitive landscape when pursuing these assignments.
It will take a while for them to ‘recognize’ your name. Keep countering and it will happen.
Could be you’re accepting their first lowball offer–THE MARK OF A NEWBIE!
Are you registered at
snapdocs signingorder signatureclosers mortgageconnectlp bankserv dot net notarydash notaryeveryday there are so many. Old Republic Title has their own website many of the title company notary registration pages take you to signingorder. signwithjot is First American.
I don’t think I’ve ever had an order from notaryresume. Register everywhere that is free.
I have registered all of them that you mentioned here.
Thank you
Your market is probably saturated.
notary resume is signing order.
Oh, okay then. I must be on there. But signingorder has slowed way down for me.
My first recommendation would be to never pay to get orders from any platform. All of those “pay to play” sites have turned out to be scams. Once you pay them, it’s highly likely that you’ll never hear from them again.
@bhuiyanotary – My first suggestion would be to click on “Find” in banner above. Then enter your zip code. This will bring up how ever many other notaries are in your zip code. That’s just those notaries that are listed on this 'site. Not all of them are. You indicate you’re in Los Angeles. I would hazard a guess that you are in a highly saturated area. Unless you have some special skill that sets you apart from the rest, i.e. fluent in a foreign language, you may be facing a lot of competition.
Questions: What made you want to be a notary? Was it something you saw, read, heard? Did you do any research on this business prior to investing your resources into it? I’m always curious what draws people into the trade.
Recommendation: Market, market and market some more. Make it point to market your business every single day. By the way … this is a business and not just a hobby for you … right?
Never pay a company for signings.
Its alot of nonsense.
List yourelf on the platforms . Title agencies etc.
Hope you have another source of income. To get you through…the market is down
I was on signing order and snapdocs for over 6 months and never received anything. I’ve even emailed them thinking my account was maybe set up wrong. They told me my account was fine.I decided to move on and I registered with others. I started out only getting offers from notary go. Which are low ballers but I countered and sometimes got what I asked for. After I gained some experience I registered with signature closers and jot. I have been happy with them and the bulk of my work comes from them with faster pay. From some of the horror stories that I have seen with companies not paying notaries from orders they have gotten off of signing order and snapdocs I feel like I dodged a bullet.
Try uploading a headshot photo – such as your drivers license photo – where you are not wearing dark glasses or sunglasses. People want to be able to see you clearly.
If you are a brand new notary who just started January 16, 2026… perhaps you are too new for some hiring companies. Focus on general notary work until you get some loan signings under your belt. A side note, if you are new, is that things are a little slowfor many of us notaries/signing agents. You are not alone.
Wow, I see you speak multiple languages! Build yourself a free Google business listing if you don’t already have one and be sure to stress your linguistic skills. GOOD LUCK!
I notice they rarely answer why they turned to this oversaturated field.
I have had people at signings who see Notary Fees and they’ll go WOW what a great part time job.
I think there are those who become NSA because they think they can easily pocket an extra 2 or 3 hundred bucks a week doing almost nothing. Had a good friend who started for that reason and did not renew his commission because in 4 years he never took orders because he thought all assignments should pay $300 because that’s what was on his closing disclosure when he bought his house.
You can lead a horse to water, but they are hard to drown.
I don’t know about Signing Order or any of them but I just looked at your website and nowhere do I see the areas you cover. That information should be above the fold, as I always learned. It can also only help your SEO.
Is your bio well-written and does it have all the information title companies are looking for? Does it list your experience with certain kinds of loan packages? Your training? Your customer service skills? Your hours?
If I had a problem and posted it here, no one interrogated me about why I became a signing agent in the first place. That just seems arrogant. Is there a statement on everyone’s profile here telling why they became a signing agent?
Nice site, but you site you look like a signing service, that assigns orders to other notaries. As to why your not getting orders, I take time and sign up with more companies. Also you site says you completed over 1900+ signing, tell me about that? Is that you or the company that made the website?
If you’d like local title companies to find you, it really does look like you’re a signing service. It says “We….” all over. Who are the “we?” Is it just you? Where’s your photo, your bio, something to show you’re local, what areas you cover, and something about your skills, your education. People have told me they like knowing who is coming to their house. Also, the public doesn’t know what a “loan signing agent” is. I would state the services I offer: real estate transactions, estate planning packages, etc.
