Can we use our current Commission to become a remote online Notary?
Please refer this question to the commissioning authority in your State (Secretary of State in most states). Some states require 2 separate commission applications – one for your regular commission and the other for RON. Usually, this is addressed in your SOS’s website.

Totally agree with @yolicue . In Florida we are required to submit an additional application, fee, subscribed to a RON provider, and successfully complete a two-hour certification course.
