Hi everyone,
I’m currently in the process of obtaining my Remote Online Notary (RON) credentials and certification. I’ve just renewed my traditional Notary commission for the first time and am excited to launch a Notary Signing business here in Florida.
As part of the RON application process, the Florida Department of State requires applicants to register with a third-party RON-certified vendor before receiving their commission. These vendors provide essential services such as audio/visual recording, secure document storage, and compliance support.
So far, I’ve researched the following providers:
- SigniX
- NotaryCam
- Proof by Notarize
Has anyone here used any of these platforms? I’d love to hear your experiences—positive or negative. Are there other vendors you’d recommend? I’m particularly interested in how user-friendly they are and any challenges they may pose for Florida-based RON businesses.
I’m preparing my application package to send to Tallahassee within the next week, so I still have a bit of time before committing to a vendor. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, Look into Blue Notary.

Proof by Notarize is good and definitely recommended, as they provide excellent training, Fees not ridiculous and provide your e-seal.
You may want to look at Cyberize It (this was created by a notary) and fee structure is good if you are bringing your own clients.
Pavaso, as the notary assignments originate directly from an approved company managing the transaction that you are already have an affiliation that utilizes the Pavaso platform.
Blue Notary I hear is decent but fees are a bit higher, but I understand they are Fidelity approved.
I would stay away from Signix due to their fee structure. Yes, I did try them…too costly.
I do not know anything about NotaryCam.

Proof by Notarize is a wonderful platform. I have not worked with the others.
Thank you Robin I appreciate you suggestion.
Thanks TX_Roxie, I agree with you based on what I have seen but they are the worst to get a appointment to speak with sales staff. I have been trying to get an appt for over a month and still no success.
Thank you RoynDixon, Great input and I will definitely look at Cyberize it. A friend of mine locally also uses Pavaso so I will look into that as well.
