I am in the process of getting my Remote Online Notary (RON) credentials and certification as I have renewed my traditional Notary credentials for the first time and want to start a Notary Signing business. Here in Florida before one even gets the RON commission the Dept of State wants one to register with a 3rd party RON certified vendor who will provide all the services (audio/visual and storage retention/security) for the services provided. I have looked into 3 companies so far: 1)SigniX 2)NotaryCam and 3)Proof by Notarize. Has anyone used any or all of the above vendors? Do you have any other recommendations or opinions as to the ease/hardship that these vendors cause for Florida RON businesses? All comments appreciated as I will be getting my package to send to Tallahassee together in the next week so I do have some leeway before I have to commit to one of the companies before I submit my credentials and paperwork.
