RON was approved for NC during the COVID period. At some point it was revoked,except for emergencies. If you search anywhere online, it says RON is approved by NC Secretary of State. On the SOS site, it stated RON is not available at this time. I am confused on whether the legislation is pending etc. I reached out to the SOS, but I haven’t received a response. Does anyone know the status of RON in NC and when it will be legal to perform online notarizations. I am currently an e-notary. Thanks in advance!
