Sign the Petition to increase fees for Texas Notaries

Attention all Texas Notaries. It has been decades since our fees were raised above $6.00. The petition link below is for Texas Notaries to sign requesting that our Legislature increase our fees to $10.00 per notarization. Please sign the petition to show our lawmakers that it is time to increase our fees. Also, contact your local state representative with the request that this be added to SB665 which if passed will require education requirements for Texas Notaries.

We currently have 89 notaries who have signed the petition, we need 100 for it to be promoted. The more notaries who participate the larger voice we will have in the Legislature. Please act today!

Yes, definitely get your petition going. I’m a CA notary public and have been since $3.00 days. As of January 1, 2017 CA notaries can now charge $15.00 per signature a 50% increase from our previous $10.00. The NNA was instrumental in promoting the increase here along with notaries who pushed for this increase.
