SigningOrder.com 2025

Is anyone actually getting regular steady work through Signing Order platform?

I feel like ever since they went to the 2.99 per month paid model for their “extra” features, I haven’t taken/accepted anything worth while from their notifications. Just a bunch of low-ball bullshit.

Thinking about disabling the service.

It’s the slowest time I’ve seen in 20 years. Any job available is most likely going to go to the cheapest notary–who is hopefully also the closest.

i’m seeing a lot of requests, but unfortunately most of the signings are in PA, DE, NJ, NY, VA… but i’m in Maryland. So I can’t accept a signing for $50-$75 thats 100 -150+ miles away. With mileage/gas , wear and tear auto upkeep costs, it just wouldn’t make sense

I stopped paying the $2.99 for added zip codes because the work has definitely slowed to a crawl. And I counter with my published fees that are on their page and rarely get the order.

and then some of these have the nerve to request that the notary PROVIDE 2 Witnesses

Same over here, they marketed their board as something special and something that needs maintenance, hence the fee. But all i’ve seen are far away appointments that nobody wants. I’m terminating my zip code subscription.

My direct experience mirrors these two candid statements.

Hint: just because they offer the low payouts doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to negotiate with them.

Not when the fee is basically half or 60% of what it should be. Plus, negotiating with low-ballers is never ideal.

It is when you get offered $85 and get paid $150. I will never understand the idea that not trying to get paid more is some sort of chore. It’s the job right now.

Everything depends on the area you live in. Where I live there are millions of people. It is pretty dense. The prices are driven down by economics. If there is an $85 order, and I counter with $100, 95% of the time the order is already accepted by someone else.

Getting quoted $85, and then getting $150 when you ask for a higher fee is unheard of around here. (IL) Where are you located?

Also, on a side note, if you are getting quotes for $85 and then the company regularly agrees for higher fees by 80% of what was originally offered, doesn’t that tell you something about the company itself?

Fees around me are roughly the following

Seller / Heloc / Loan Mod = $50 - $75
Refi w/scans = $75 - $125

@NobleInk Concur :100: percent! :white_check_mark: Thank You :tada::dizzy: for sharing your direct experience.

As I often express, one of the major contributing factors is location, Location, LOCATION! :beach_with_umbrella:

Some regions are saturated with professionals providing these services & the result is as you indicated:

Of course, there can be lone anecdotal experiences touting their volume, but that certainly ISN’T the direct experience of the MAJORITY of entrepreneurs who venture within this business sector.

I actually get a lot of orders through signing order. I’m rural and there aren’t very many notaries here though.

@jhoward Thank you :tada: for sharing your direct experience.

Another validation that it’s contingent upon a few variables with a major factor being location, Location, LOCATION!

I was wondering the same. I’ve only been seeing signings in this site for less than 80 and some as low as 40. Are there any other notary sites like this one that you can sign up for?

I counter offer on any job I’d like to be assigned to. About 30% of the time I end up getting the job at my price. I work extended hours and am willing to drive far so I seem to do well on the long distance jobs or the ones in the evenings and/or weekends. I do notice that the lower paying jobs tend to sit there awhile before being assigned. I get about half of my monthly income off that platform.

I’ve never paid SO .com (Link modified, original led to foreign owned domain- Notary Cafe moderators), and I’ve gotten plenty of work before; they have slowed down quite a bit. I don’t hear from them much, maybe people have lost faith in that platform?

I would recommend for Blue Notary. The annual fee (deluxe) is around 350.00-400.00. I would ckeck them out.

It’s such a weird market anymore. When I counter with an amount I am worth, often I hear crickets. It’s okay most of the time because I’m developing a nonprofit and never have enough hours in the day to keep up with it all, but yeah, I hear ya, it’s definitely not worth spending any money on anymore. My notary business supports developing my nonprofit at the moment and it would be so cool if I could make enough to make sure I’m taking care of both business, but paying for any service is idiotic right now.
