Sure glad JOT did whatever they did to their website

Got an email that JOT was doing a security upgrade so go ensure your profile phone number is correct. So I did. That night was the upgrade.

After an extended period of time with no requests, they are finally coming through again. Not sure what that means. Maybe they had a glitch or something.

Did one last night. I like JOT orders so I hope it’s all better now.

I have to admit that I haven’t heard of JOT before your post. Thanks for the information.

JOT wants notaries who have a minimum of two years experience or they might suspend an application to list on their service.

They also wanted me to list $90 foe required fees or they wouldn’t accept my application. Every $90 offer gives the ability to counter offer.

They pay weekly. Without an invoice. In county I will do the small seller packages. But I charge more for out of county or the big refis. Excellent company. They are First American Title.

@johnsonps306 , I worked for First American Title for a long time. FASS was one of my best signing companies. I would get about 20 orders per month and got paid weekly. Recently they had me do a loan refi for one of their Corporate Officers. They called it a VIP signing order and they asked me to quote the fee I needed. They did pay me a good fee, so it wasn’t the worst. The thing is that they started paying less by hiring outside service people. Because of this, I’ve been getting my business elsewhere. I still get their notifications, but the amount they pay isn’t good enough for me. I think it’s funny how these companies are starting to rebrand.

They pay what I ask usually.

@cfletcher Yes, & when they do rebrand, they drastically D R O P their Fees! :scream:

:swan:

Why do people continually complain about low fees being offered? No one has to accept low fees. Is everything supposed to be super easy and roll how notaries want with zero effort? Seems that’s what a lot want. Big fees, minimal requirements. It’s not realistic.

Some people are ready to just take what’s offered — regardless of the feasibility. They go in with that “employee mentality”. This is my business. I set my fees. If we can agree, we can do business. If not, tomorrow is another day and perhaps we can agree on another one then.

I work with Rocket Close (fka Amrock) and Servicelink and Bancserv and JOT. People have posted here where these companies pay low fees. That’s true ONLY if you’re not willing to negotiate your fees and set your parameters.

My suggestion to sall NSAs: Run a business, not a bargain basement.
