I am livid. Took a signing. Printed and prep docsd of trust written wrong. I alerted title an hour before signing. Hoping to get one doc changed after 3 calls to title 4 messages I signing company and 5 texts to borrowers all in 2 hours time they are canceling the order. Ugh!!! I am out 2 hours. Printing of docs. I am furious not a dime. How is this allowed?
Was given 1/2 the fee. Hoping I ca do the signing when Available to finish it
What is the name of the company?
Xome. Have been doing signings for them since I started. Lately they haven’t been that great.
I’m so sorry. I let go of companies that can’t meet my docs ETA! No time to waste:(.
If they don’t want to pay, send them back their unsigned docs for them to shred and cause them to have to pay the shipping fee. That’s what I did and got a call from vendor management and got paid.
I recently took an order from them, closed the signing successfully, closed the package at the table and took it straight to UPS.
I received a call a couple of days later that they couldn’t find the NOTE, and asked if I would go back out and get it signed, they included a FedEx label. I immediately called the borrower to get it scheduled and got it completed and FedEx’ed within that same day. Fast forward two weeks the payment notification comes and I get half the fee. I called to complain about the fee and that it was incorrect. I was told that because the note was missing I had lost it. I challenge that comment and Xome stated And I am quoting “that it is the notary’s job to make sure all documents are returned”, hello!! that’s what I was challenging. I returned ALL the documents, and someone at the title company must have lost the note, looking back at the emails XOME clearly said they couldn’t find the Note Which made me think they lost it. They never said the NOTE was missing indicating that the notary lost it, they said they couldn’t find it which indicated to me that they lost it. In any regard, I didn’t lose the damn thing I have been signing for 17 years, I even went back and had it resigned if I had known they were gonna reduce my fee I would have told them to get someone else to do it!!!
@VIPnotaryCO Sorry to hear about your bad experience, and good that I read your comment because I’ve been doing signings with them lately, close to home,
They sure are cheap low ballers
If I get into a similar situation I’d know how to handle them.
