WARNING: Non-Payment AllStates Notary - Who has done signings for them?

I am still awaiting payment for service rendered in January of 2023. I’m constantly emailing and calling them,…then I get a response we will process asap. Still waiting.

Why not file a report with the Attorney General of their state?
There’s also Small Claims Court and if they don’t show up, you get it automatically.

Wellll…you get a judgment in your favor for the amount due plus interest and costs. Unfortunately, there’s then the issue of getting them to pay. Of course there’s liens and such you can use to get your money, but the judgment itself is nothing but a piece of paper.

A notary in CA some years ago had a problem with a company - he sued in civil court - he won - I don’t think he was ever paid.

Didn’t know that. I think im permanently done with signing services. Too degrading. Id feel better about myself doing Doordash. :relieved: I get disgusted when i see the crappy notifications.

I got a call from her yesterday. She didn’t want to pay the fair full fee for a last minute rush with scans. I didn’t appreciate her attitude or the conversation. The fee will always be the full fee for her and I’ll never answer her calls in an appointment again. I told her I was in an appt and I could do it, then she wanted to play games. Then the closing was just rescheduled lol. She called from two different numbers and I saved them both. Interesting that her ad says she believes in paying it forward everyday. I guess it’s unfortunate that she doesn’t want to pay the notary for getting the job done. Talk is cheap, and I got your number now.

that and child support

Well…that depends on the state … And we’ll let that lie …whole different subject and don’t want to hijack this thread

I won a judgement in small claims court that I won. As I was walking out, the losing party said, “so you won, now try to collect”.

They’re right. Winning a judgement is only one part. Now you’ll have to get a writ of execution to collect.
