Fellow notaries, please be cautious when accepting assignments from Cloud Signings . I have completed EIGHT signing for them from April 2024 through January 2025, fulfilled all requirements promptly and professionally, and to this day have not received payment .
Despite multiple follow-ups and documented attempts to collect, they have been unresponsive and have not honored their payment agreement. I have contacted them multiple times with no resolution.
This is not just my experience — several other notaries have reported similar issues. Please do your research before accepting any assignments from this company. Protect your time, effort, and livelihood.
I’m sharing this to help others avoid the same situation. Feel free to DM me if you want details or to share your own experience.
I have been having the same issues with Coast 2 Coast. There have been delays with payments on multiple assignments. Are any other notaries having this issue??
Sorry to read about the payment difficulties you’re enduring with those 2 separate business entities.
Thank You for sharing your direct experience. Your thread will be helpful to nearly all Notary Cafe members.
.
Just wondering if by any chance if you were able to locate the immediately available information found within the Notary Cafe database on this longtime Non-Paying business entity?
This information is a GOLDMINE!
Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the SearchFunction in order to access the wealth of information available within the database that has been generously contributed by your sagacious fellow business owners over the years . . .
To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.
I’ve performed a cursory Search on behalf of @bryantamy107 and the results show 50+ separate threads (including yours) about this particular business entity (mostly about Non-Payment).
I’ve performed a cursory Search on behalf of @mr.citywidenotary and the results show 50+ separate threads (in addition to yours) about this particular business entity (many of which are about Non-Payment).
FYI: There is a plethora of data immediately available on the threads within Notary Cafe.

SPECIAL NOTE:Accessing the database to locate information about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ‘chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . .
LATEST ON CLOUD SIGNINGS: I filed a complaint with the BBB and informed them of such when an overdue payment was promised yet again for the third week “will look into it this weekend”. POSTING THIS because their response was “You have violated our policy and no problem thank you have a great day”. (The statement doesn’t even make sense.) I will admit that I have received payment for every other work order I have done for them (usually only after “nudging” them) but this time I’d been pushed past my tolerance.
You should test agencies out only providing one signing if you’re not sure about them. Check to see how many days it took to pay you. They sound like a criminal joint.
You will need to give them a bad review on Google, Yelp and eventually they will have to do something. Add them if they’re not on the social formats. Notary Cafe says it can help you on payment issues so you should also contact them especially if the criminals found you on their platform.
What if they’re in another state? It’s not possible. You have to block problems before they happen in this industry. Court isn’t good and it’s hard to collect many times. Post about the experience on Google and Yelp reviews.
By the time I got paid, if I’d “tested (them) out”, I would have been out hundreds of $$$. They’ve paid on time in the past - I was smart enough to read their policies and knew what to expect. They are not a “criminal joint”. They’re just jerks! Notary Cafe does not provide that kind of help except to provide others’ experiences. But thanks for the advice.
In Florida you can file a small claims action where the damage was sustained, which would be in my own county. I never sign any company agreement that states jurisdiction is in any other state but my own, Florida.
What you need to do or maybe I should say could do is reach out to the title companies directly and let them know that Cloud is not paying the Notaries to close, perhaps the title will take action and pay you and charge them back or simply stop sending them signings…Good Luck, Thanks to these forums I have Cloud blacklisted…
I too did several notary assignments for Cloud Signings and did not receive payment. I sent them an e-mail yesterday with a list of assignments that have been unpaid and it was returned to me as refused. Is there someone who can give me any help on how to reach them. Needless to say I will no longer accept any assignments from them.
Numerous people have warned everyone about some nonpaying companies but people continue taking orders from them so they can gripe about not getting paid. Another thing companies visit this site from time to time and you bad mouth any company do you think they will give you orders.
@wckjc You’ll find it beneficial to respond via the Direct Message [DM] system to the Original Poster [OP] @bryantamy107 on this Notary Cafe thread. See excerpt noted above.
I have had 5 signings in the past 4-5 months. They have always paid me, but their rule is payment 30 days after the signing on the next Friday. I do always send them an invoice on the day they are late and then they cut the check and apologize for being slow.
Cloud …ugh where to start I did ONE signing for them and wasn’t compensated , they went so far as to delete the entire order from snap docs despite receiving the completed closing package. They too told me I had done some imaginary thing wrong and would be going after my E&O (empty threat). Then Suddenly they recalled all email correspondence and deleted the order entirely. So dirty …I don’t wish this on many folks but I hope they step on a lego.
I too had done an $85 signing with Cloud Signings on 05/03/2025 and they still haven’t paid me as of yet! I had called them & left messages and even emailed an invoice to them and to no avail, they still haven’t responded. I checked their review with the BBB and they have a negative rating with numerous complaints. I will no longer do business with a shady business who refuse to pay their hard-working notaries after they do the work for them. This signing service should change their name to Clown Signings.
