Cloud Signings LLC- DO NOT ACCEPT JOBS FROM THIS COMPANY [title edited]

I completed a signing for this company in December 2024 and have been requesting payment from them for nearly a year. They keep emailing me “This will be looked at over the weekend” yet nothing has been done. DO NOT WORK OR ACCEPT JOBS FROM THIS COMPANY. You will not get paid. You’ve been warned.

@notaryjae Sorry to read about the Non-Payment status with that business entity.

Many Notary Cafe members have been sharing that same status for an extended period of time (since approximately 2018) . . .

===>>> Accessing the Notary Cafe database (PRIOR to providing any professional services) to locate information about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ‘chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . . :crown:

Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of information available within the database that has been generously contributed by your sagacious fellow business owners over the years . . .

To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.

I’ve performed a cursory Search on your behalf and the results show 50+ separate threads (in addition to yours) about this particular business entity. There is a plethora of data immediately available on the threads within Notary Cafe. :sparkles::tulip:

Take a moment or two to Review this Listing of threads. There will be much information that could be helpful in the collection of your long overdue invoices.

.

Also, reach out to the Title/Escrow Company [T/EC] for your Signing Orders [SOs] as they could be of some assistance regarding payment.

Reach out to title and let them know that you’re not expecting them to pay you, but you wanted them to know that a vendor they paid for a service has refused to pay you. Report them to the secretary of states office in your state and the state they are in. File a complaint with your local sheriffs department for theft of services. I would reach out to them again, letting them know of your intent to do the above mentioned if they continue to refuse to pay. I had an issue like this with another service and made them aware of my intent to do what I mentioned and finally received payment. It’s worth a shot.

Thank you. I reported them to the BBB and notified the hiring title company of their bad practices. Not sure how to submit a complaint to the Secretary of State since the company doesn’t have a notary commission and I can’t locate their business licensing information.

The owner of Cloud Signings LLC is a notary. You can still file a criminal complaint with your local authorities for theft of services.

Yes, I’ve been waiting since September 2024 for one signing I completed. It was a two Hour Dr. one way.

Here is my response. I’ve tried to collect my $225 several times reaching out I get the same response.

This will be paid out this weekend.

Thank You,

Here’s the contact phone number I found on the first order correspondence. Again, this was September 2024.

And yes, I haven’t accepted any more signings from them.

I agree. Do not accept any signings from Cloud Signings LLC. I wish I would have researched reviews before accepting. I completed two signings in June 2025 and they have yet to pay me. I’ve sent numerous emails and I receive the same response “this will be looked into over the weekend.” Frustrating.

I think it’s really unfortunate that new notaries get marketed the idea they can be signing services and no one talks about operating capital. Which clearly some of these services do not have. They hold things together with scotch tape and a dream and no money.

Like my first marriage.

I am deceased

I am also waiting on a payment from them for a July 18, 2025 job. I have sent several emails because they don’t answer their phone. I will add them to my blacklist.

I did a total of three signings for Cloud, a mistake I will not repeat. Two were in July and one was in August. I emailed invoices right after the signings and got snarky responses reminding me of their Net 60 terms, stating the invoices were not due yet. I always send invoices right after a signing to make sure I’m covered.

I sent repeated requests for payment on all invoices (by this time overdue) that were all ignored. I finally got a response that they would “look into it”. I did get paid - for the oldest one only.

I’ve since sent numerous emails about the other two. I finally reached out to SO and reported it. That got a response, which was Lloyd saying he needed the order numbers - despite them being at the bottom of the email. Still, I sent him both invoices for the fourth time. Three hours later, I got another email asking for the order numbers that were still in the email and were on the invoices I’d literally sent in the last three hours. Either he can’t read or he’s deliberately being difficult. Either way, I will never accept an order from them after this. Net 60 terms for a loan signing are ridiculous anyway, but this is insane.

Over the past five years, I’ve done two signings for Cloud Notaries, one for $30 and the other for $65. It took a while, but I got paid on both. I was lucky. I’ve since dropped them from my list.

Oh my gosh–“this will be looked at over the weekend” must be their default cut-and-paste messaging. Today I wrote back, “I was told this would be paid over the weekend. It is now late on Saturday, banks are closed and I still have not been paid. If this doesn’t get resolved, I will be forced to call Title.”
The response I got: “Weekend isn’t over.” I mean literally–not even a full sentence reply!

They screwed me too. I suggest contacting the local media in PA, Better Business Bureau, and the Attorney General’s office. Also I have been posting on notary groups to help new notaries.

They screwed me too, did they ever pay?

Totally agree I had to fight for six months to get paid for one Signing and I won’t do them anymore for them.

@randerson.mhl Excellent Business Decision. :dizzy:
