Where is my E&O insurance In NNA

I cant seem to locate my E&O policy in my NNA account. I can see that I have it and the amount, however the policy along with policy number is not there nor a link to reach it I have searched emails looking for NNA link to get copy of it so I may add a paper copy to my safe. I am I over looking something

I was having same issue with my EO and it would not link when I had it through a 3rd party. To later find out that EO didn’t cover loan signing work, so I cancelled and purchased higher amount with the NNA which is now linked on their website.

I dont have a link to on my NNA account bought with NNa I guess I will call them tomorrow. Thinks for your input.

Contact NNA by Phone. * [1-800-876-6827 They are pretty quick to send a copy to your email.

No problem. You can log to your NNA account signing agent area to check if it’s there.

Update. I can find it in my order history with the NNA. I can’t find a downloadable version.

Irina, you do know the NNA coverage is only for notary work too, right? It’s not Signing Agent coverage and won’t cover loan work?

yes I am aware. If I think i need a second policy to cover all I do as a NSA its out there . to fill in the gap like i have on my cars . And E&O only covers the Notary part of the loan signing transaction.

I was asking Irina, mostly because if I was getting the same coverage I already had, I’d have just left it alone and put the E&O info in my profile (which I did in the past). She said she switched so it sounded like she thought she had more coverage. Maybe I misunderstood

Hi Linda, I was told my old EO from a local notary shop I purchased from that it was notary coverage but it did not cover notary acts done under signing agent or real estate work. I purchased the NNA one. From what I understand, the Merchant’s one from NNA covers notarial duties performed even as a signing agent. Hope that is not excluded. I have to read my policy and maybe to contact them again. How I found out regarding the exclusion was when I cancelled my first 25k policy and needed 100k one.

Thank you Irina - yes, please double check that because it’s my understanding that the standard E&O, including the one issued by the NNA, covers notarial acts only. There IS specific insurance out there for signing agent work but it is more expensive.

Thanks, everyone I called the NNA on Monday. The nice lady who helped me emailed me my E & O before I hang up with her. She did try to sell me supplies. However, service was A 1

I always call them and ask them to email it to me and mail a hard copy also. They have always been happy to do that

Hi Irina, I also have NNA and I increased to 100K. Where is it linked at?
I just requested copy by email and I received it promptly
